JEANS SIZE GUIDE

All measurements provided on ILI are taken with the jeans laid flat on a surface and are approximate.

For the best fit, we recommend comparing these measurements to a pair of jeans you already love the fit of.

MEASUREMENT GUIDE

Waist

Measure straight across the top of the waistband from one side to the other, then double it if you want the full circumference.

Hip

Measure across the widest part of the hip area (usually around the base of the zipper), then double for full circumference.

Rise

Measure from the crotch seam straight up to the top of the front waistband. This tells you how high or low the jeans will sit on your body.

Inseam

Measure from the crotch seam down the inside leg to the hem. This determines leg length.

Length (Outseam)

Measure from the top of the waistband down the outside of the leg to the hem.

HOW TO COMPARE WITH YOUR BODY MEASUREMENTS

  • If you like a low-rise look, compare your hip area to the listed waist measurement.
  • If you prefer a higher-waisted fit, compare the waist measurement to your natural waist.
  • Always allow a little extra room depending on how snug or relaxed you like your jeans.
  • If you prefer a looser or baggier fit, consider choosing a slightly larger size and wearing the jeans with a belt.
